Overview Sugarloaf is looking for bartenders to join our Food and Beverage Team at our signature 45 North location for the coming winter season. Sugarloaf Bartenders enthusiastically provide excellent guest service in regards to mixing and matching ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with customer needs and expectations. Our bartenders are not only experts in preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, but also provide dinner service to guests who are seated at the bar. Responsibilities Share your expertise on spirits, wine, and beer with guests while showcasing your in-depth knowledge of the bar and food menu. Must be knowledgeable (or able to quickly learn) about Sugarloaf and surrounding areas in order to answer guest questions and direct accurately Execute precise opening and closing procedures, including pre-shift and post-shift tasks, along with fulfilling essential stocking and cleaning responsibilities during your shift. Manage cash transactions, maintain accurate till balances, and calculate tip distributions with precision. Promote a positive and productive work environment by engaging in effective communication with colleagues and management. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 30 lbs without assistance is essential. Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Candidates must either hold ServSafe certification or have the capacity to obtain it upon employment. Preference will be given to candidates with TIPS training. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required is essential. While previous experience is preferred, we are open to training individuals who are the right fit for the role.
