Studio UI UX Designer Specialist (Senior) - IT Innovations - Day

Full Time, Day Shift (80 hours biweekly)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (Flexible schedule)

General Summary

Performs diversified creative duties to contribute to digital projects. This team member collaborates daily with Studio colleagues - graphic designers, front-end developers, writers and Studio project producers. The role regularly works with other WellSpan Innovation department team members within Digital Health, Research & Development and Marketing teams.

Essential Functions:

Experience using industry design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe, InVision, etc. Create internal and external digital interfaces (websites, applications, touchscreens, etc.), translate strategic directives into UX and UI for a range of digital products. Proficiency in design methods, interaction design, information architecture, user research, visual design, prototyping, and/or content design. Collaborate with various teams and leadership to understand the problem at hand, partner on solutions. Identify opportunities to enhance the User experience within our digital ecosystem. Use human-centered design approaches to frame problems, uncover patterns, discover opportunities, and visualize possibilities. Leverage data and user feedback to drive and influence design decisions. Use design thinking methods to iterate through concepts that can be tested and validated Provide expert UX input into building the optimal user experience. Provide ongoing UX support throughout the build, testing, and implementation of concept. Critical thinker comfortable analyzing and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data. Ability to work and communicate effectively and with influence in a team environment. Support larger creative team with design skills. Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Continuous learner around the intersection of people, process, technology, and business. Motivate, lead, self-initiate, set objectives, manage performance and adhere to daily and weekly deadlines. Self-develop and progressively learn to meet work challenges.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Associates Degree Required Bachelors Degree Preferred

Work Experience:

4 years Applicable visual design and creative experience Required 3 years As a UX practitioner in highly collaborative environments. Preferred and Experience facilitating a breadth of project management and design methodologies. Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Trained in design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, human factors, or human-computer interaction. Proficiency in at least one, ideally two, UX disciplines such as: Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Visual Design, Content Strategy, UX Research, or Product Design. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
