The Studio Production Finance department is responsible for the full life cycle financial management of Disney’s live action slate of productions. The department supervises the Production Accounting staffs on all live action productions. Intern will be reporting to Vice President of Postproduction Finance.
This internship is a full-time commitment in the Burbank, CA area from May 2025 - August 2025.
What You Will Do:
Training in and performing duties of Accounting Assistant and Clerk including inputting invoices into accounting software systems, matching POs, following up with vendors and filing
Attending software training classes at the two principal entertainment payroll and software companies
Assisting with ad hoc projects as needed, which may include learning internal SAP and GRID systems
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience working in the entertainment industry
General “big picture” understanding of accounting process
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Prior internship experience in production field
Education:
Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Finance or Accounting
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Additional Information:
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22 per hour.
