This is a rare, part-time opportunity for a boutique architecture and interior design practice based in Shoreditch.

Our client is a London-based practice of architects and designers founded by an award-winning female architect. They work across varied projects in several sectors including private, speculative residential, luxury retail and commercial, both in the UK and globally.

They are looking for an experienced Studio Manager to join them to ensure the smooth running of the business. This a key role for them and a great opportunity for someone to make it their own.

Key Responsibilities Managing the smooth running of the office including reception duties, email correspondence, filing, company renewals, membership subscriptions, ordering office supplies/equipment, liaising with office suppliers and consultants and management of studio calendar HR Administration; staff development, appraisal arrangements, office events, visa sponsorship, maintaining office policies, recruitment and contracts, inductions for new staff and managing all HR records  Finance Management and Administration; reconciling accounts, invoice payments, maintaining client payments and expense records, employee expenses, managing all stages of sales invoicing, payroll and liaison with the company accountants regarding VAT and pensions Communications/Marketing; updating the website and social media channels, awards submissions, press and media liaison, assisting with photography and maintaining records of information released and published PA to Principal and project support when requiredSkills and Experience Experience across all facets of studio/office Management including HR and finance admin Previous experience of working in architecture, interior or design setting would be an advantage Excellent written/verbal communication and editing skills with a keen attention to detail Strong ability to prioritise tasks efficiently to meet deadlines, while working collaboratively and productively with all colleagues High level of competence using Apple OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite (predominately Adobe InDesign and Photoshop) and accounting software Xero; some experience in Datamolino and WordPress or similar preferable
