Position Summary:

The Research Computing Student System Administrator will collaborate closely with the High Performance Computing (HPC) System Administrator and the Assistant Director. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the research computing infrastructure and assisting users.

Respond to support tickets and resolve user issues.Unbox and set up new hardware.Support the installation of new hardware.Install software and modules in a Linux environment.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user jobs.Assist users with login issues.Guide new users in running jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.0 GPA.

Salary:

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour.

Work Days and Hours:

Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
20 hours per week.

May require occasional travel to Jupiter Campus as needed.
