Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern.

In this role, the successful candidate Reporting to the Communications, Marketing, Government and Community Affairs organization
the Enterprise Communications Intern will support internal and employee communications; hospital operations communications; visual storytelling and production; thought leadership; our intranet, Inside Health; executive and broadcast communications; and our flagship magazine - all designed to enhance and protect the reputation of our brand and underscore NYU Langone Healths mission to be a world-class, patient-centered, integrated academic health system.
This role requires a creative and quick thinker with a passion for writing and project management. The ability to work quickly, efficiently and have excellent computer and organizational skills are a must. The right candidate will be high-energy, enthusiastic and ready to hit the ground running. Must have an interest in healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

Report, write, and edit stories of interest to the institution, which may include employee profiles, patient stories, news about groundbreaking research and/or clinical treatments, and stories about programs within the organizationCreate content that evokes inspiration, captivates stakeholders, and increases brand reputation by sharing NYU Langone Health's trailblazing endeavors across all of our enterprise channels.Gain an understanding of our visual storytelling process through participation in the planning and execution of photo and video shoots.Support broadcast email communications and jungle mail; prep and format communications and newsletters.Support the development of content and performance metrics for hospital operations meetings and internal communications. Support the planning and management of Enterprise Communications team building eventResearch healthcare internal communications trends and offer ideas to improve current plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have
1. Working toward a bachelors degree in business, marketing, science, english or communications
2. Some familiarity with marketing or communications
3. Proven track record of school success
Personal Skills
1. Excellent writing and editing skills a must
2. Enthusiastic, proactive, high energy personality
3. Able to juggle multiple projects and follow through to completion; a problem-solver
4. Strong oral and interpersonal communications skills
5. Shows excellent judgment
6. Professional presence and demeanor

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.50-16.50 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
