Our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department is responsible for developing Body Computer Modules, Secure Central Gateways and Vehicle Security Products. Job Description

Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Student Engineer (Hardware) to join our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department on a full-time basis for 12-months commencing February 2025.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include: 

Building sample and prototypes for electronic control units.Participating in the vehicle installation of prototype electronic control units.Contributing to verification activities (including testing) needed to guarantee that product designs comply with customer and internal specifications.Contributing to improving product designs to reduce costs, improve quality/reliability, and increase productivity.Proactively search for potential risks and recommend alterations to mitigate those risks.Ensuring that all documentation required to support a product’s introduction is available on time as required and its quality is to the expected level.

Qualifications

You will have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, work well with teams and have excellent organisational and communication skills.

To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

Be currently enrolled in an Engineering (Electronics/Mechatronics) Undergraduate degree.Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).Be self-driven and have a passion for excellence.Have the ability to work autonomously, prioritising customer and internal demands.Knowledge of the traditional hardware development lifecycle is advantageous.
