Duties Description *NOTE: Qualifying candidates must be available to work part-time through the end of the current semester and full-time, 37.5 hours per week once the current semester ends. It is anticipated that candidates will begin full-time employment mid to late May. 1. Assist with processing state financial aid programs using office databases and mainframe 2. Provide office support including monitoring email inboxes and reviewing application data3. Maintain spreadsheets and databases to catalog documentation and processing status4. Draft responds to email inquiries and communications from students, college and university financial aid staff.5. Work with G&S teams to resolve individual processing issues6. Draft emails to inform students regarding award status and/or required documentation to complete financial aid application process7. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications • Currently enrolled in a higher education institution • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.• Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and WebEx.
Additional Comments TELECOMMUTING INFORMATION: Initially positions work full-time in the office and a hybrid telecommuting schedule of up to 50% remote work can be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview.
