Structured Trade Finance (STF) team sits within the New Ventures – Strategy & Development department at TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping and is responsible for the origination, structuring and distribution of transactions with financial angle that are aimed at creating mid to long-term new trading flows and contributing to the P&L of TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping division. The team has a global remit looking across crude and refined products trading books and geographical locations.

What you will do:
As an intern, will be based in TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping Geneva office and its primary responsibility is to support the members of the Structured Trade Finance team with the assessment, structuring and implementation of transactions.
Assist members of STF team with data collection in relation to business opportunitiesAnalyse new opportunities and report results to members of STF teamBuild financial models for assessment of transaction economics and risk profileAssist with transactions due diligencePrepare information package for further internal and/or external presentationHelp coordinate the execution of transactionsMonitor and report on implemented transactionsMaintain a weekly report consolidating details of all projects reviewed by STF teamFollow a market intelligence report based on available sources for the team benefit, including review of competitors activities relevant for STF activityHelp handle the relationships with various sources of liquidity and risk distribution to optimise the amount, cost and structure of each project Candidate Profile You enrolled your last year of master’s degree in finance, economics (or equivalent) or school of engineeringGood communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously when required and to take initiativesAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft office applications, in particular excel for financial modellingLanguages: fluent in English, any other language is a plusInternship agreement is a mandatory for this role
