Working on a variety of interesting projects encompassing Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Energy, Heritage, Commercial, Industrial and the hospitality buildings sectors. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop and lead a team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design. Working with an already established team of engineers and Revit/CAD technicians, you will + Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information + Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the WSP business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes + Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction + Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration. **What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…** + Gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering + Experience in Building Structures as a Technician + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office + Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software + Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided) + Gained strong, practical experience of using Revit in a similar building structures focused role. + Proficiency at planning and organising workload + Strong communication skills both written and verbal + Excellent presentation skills + Familiarity with working under pressure and to tight deadlines + Experience of working on a range of projects across a variety of sectors **Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.** Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
