Due to continued growth, our Nuclear Services Group is looking for a Structural Engineering Lead onsite at Crane Clean Energy Center (formerly TMI 1) in Middletown, PA. In this role, you will coordinate with diverse disciplines, review designs, and manage projects with autonomy. Additionally, you will prepare specs, evaluate bids, and create innovative solutions to technical challenges.

Cross-Disciplinary Coordination & Collaboration: Understand and interface with multiple engineering disciplines. Review and check designs, drawings, and data from othersProject Leadership & Technical Oversight: Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with minimal oversight. Prepare design studies, scopes, estimates, and technical evaluationsInnovation & Problem Solving: Devise new solutions to technical challenges based on industry knowledge. Make informed recommendations to drive project successMentorship & Team Development: Mentor and coach junior employees, assigning tasks and guiding their growth. Oversee technical work, ensuring quality and standardsClient Engagement & Operational Excellence: Participate in client meetings, field installations, and project start-up. Approve timesheets and expenses, and contribute to performance reviews Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum 7 years of Civil Structural Engineering experienceEIT or PE License in one or more states preferredDirect and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintain quality standards of all assigned projectsExcellent verbal communication skills; comfortable and effective communicator with team, clients, management, etc., choosing the right mode of communication for the situation and relaying the right messageAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsAbility to gain and maintain unescorted access at this client siteStrong technical writing skills and attention to detailStrong coordination and team-building skills; demonstrated ability to work across disciplines, divisions, and teams. Ability to assess and understand team strengths and weaknesses and adjust level of support/oversight as appropriateAbility to motivate team and achieve goals through positive, winning attitude and effective leadership style which is consistent with ENERCON’s Defining Excellence fundamentalsProblem-solving and general scientific evaluation skillsProficient in Word and ExcelMust be able to perform plant walkdowns

This position offers per diem for non local candidates.
