We are seeking passionate interns for the summer of 2025 who possess excellent design, modeling, organizational and communication skills, which will enable them to interact within a multidisciplinary team of architectural/engineering/interior design professionals. Successful Interns will possess the creativity, curiosity, motivation, and skills necessary to create conceptual models and advance design ideas with a team.

Your Key Responsibilities Conducts basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and other similar materials. Performs design for the electrical, mechanical, or structural discipline using BIM technologies to develop three dimensional models of buildings and their components under direction of senior staff. Conduct basic calculations and lay outs to analyze and design individual building structural systems. Works with project managers and technical design staff to prepare and revise drawing documentation in various engineering phases including site plans, floor plans, elevations, building sections, details, and calculations. Creates electronic data files in compliance with Stantec and client requirements. Converts redlines to document-ready work. Publishes, posts, and manages drawing sets. Maintains drawing revisions. Your Capabilities and Credentials Ability to perform basic calculations and a basic understanding of engineering concepts. Basic experience with modeling/drafting software (Autodesk Revit) preferred. Basic experience with design software (Tekla Structural Designer (TSD), RAM Structural suite, RISA, Enercalc, etc.) preferred. Basic understanding of floor plans and details. Has familiarity with shop drawings. Working knowledge of Building Information Modeling. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Education and Experience Must be in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s in architectural / Structural Engineering from an accredited university. Completion of the junior year is preferred. Up to 2 years of related project or internship experience is preferred.
