We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in the designing and developing structural components for cutting-edge structural systems for high-tech or industrial facilities with a primary emphasis on steel and strut configurations. As a Structural Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating conceptual designs, producing detailed construction drawings, ensuring their safety, integrity, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations. This position is a hybrid position, requiring occasional onsite work.

Responsibilities Develop detailed structural designs and layouts for high-tech and industrial facilities. This includes creating conceptual designs, performing analysis, and producing detailed construction drawings, while adhering to industry standards and regulations.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural components efficiently into overall facility design.Design and model utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software to create accurate and precise structural drawings, models, and construction documents.Perform analysis and calculations to ensure the structural integrity and safety of designs, considering various load conditions and requirements.Create comprehensive construction packages including specifications, bill of materials, and technical documentation for fabrication and construction teams.Conduct site visits and assessments to verify adherence to design specifications and provide on-site support when necessary.Stay up to date with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to structural design. Ensure that all designs adhere to project standards, seismic requirements, and local building codes.Collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, process/chemical, and architectural to solve design problems and challenges. Provide support during construction phases, addressing any design-related queries or modifications as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required. An Associate or Bachelor’s degree-tracked in Structural or Civil engineering is preferred.Experience with AutoCAD and Revit software for structural design and drafting is required. Experience with Plant 3D, Bluebeam, Navisworks, or other related software systems is a plus.Knowledge of associated building codes, seismic design principles/requirements, and experience applying them to real-world projects.Demonstrated knowledge or experience with designs containing steel, strut, and/or related structures.Salary Range: $50,000 - $100,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K retirement savings plan (with company matching), opportunities for professional development and training, PTO, & paid holidays.
