Job Title: Structural Engineer
Pay Rate: $72.45 - $82.51 per hour

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73135
Schedule: Full-time; Consultant (12 Months+), Monday to Friday, 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Position Description:

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements for aerospace systems. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams, performing structural integrity assessments using finite element modeling (FEM) and analytical methods, and supporting product testing and certification efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural analysis, test execution, and validation of systems and components to meet regulatory and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish and refine system designs.

Coordinate with other engineering teams to establish environmental and operational constraints for the product.

Guide product design and verify structural integrity using finite element models, simulations, and analytical tools.

Develop test plans, configure test environments, support test execution, and analyze/report test results.

Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.

Investigate structural failures and analyze potential design improvements for in-service products.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company engineering standards.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance while working under general direction in a non-managerial, non-leadership role.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with structural analysis, finite element modeling (FEM), and simulation tools.

Strong analytical skills in structural integrity assessments and product lifecycle development.

Ability to develop and validate test plans and document results.

Experience supporting certification efforts for regulatory agencies and customer compliance.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Experience working in aerospace, defense, or related industries.

Proficiency in FEA software such as NASTRAN, ANSYS, or Abaqus.

Knowledge of FAA, DoD, or other regulatory requirements related to structural certification.

Experience in failure analysis and structural improvement initiatives.
