Your Responsibilities
The Manager will have the following responsibilities, primarily related to our long-term mission around guests and franchisee value proposition and platform growth:
Business Solution Delivery: In partnership with the Strategy and Transformation leadership team, the Manager will lead cross-functional teams in the design and/or implementation of several enterprise-wide strategic transformation initiatives and programs by developing an actionable plan, establishing enterprise alignment and commitment toward the plan, executing and communicating progress against the plan to Senior Leadership. Once launched, the Manager will help these initiatives succeed by analyzing processes and developing data-driven insights. The manager will identify risks and dependencies, and guide leadership in solving roadblocks by creating materials to drive decision-making and alignment. The Manager will lead efforts to further drive operational efficiencies for core Choice processes through the business process redesign, which is often coupled with the introduction of new technologies to support the future-state process. For approved technology solutions, the Manager will work closely with IT Strategy to oversee the implementation of the solution.
Enterprise Communication & Execution: The Manager will facilitate repeatable/systemic approaches to change through the implementation of change management processes and best practices. They will work with subject matter experts, finance, human resources, and IT teams to ensure that everything we do drives towards our common goals. The Manager will help prioritize transformation initiatives to execute our strategy, develop objective ways to measure progress with a focus on long-term goals, and will summarize the story behind the numbers.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Education
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
MBA preferred.
Experience
4+ years of functional experience in consulting, strategic planning, business analytics, or corporate strategy, with project management familiarity.
Exposure to business process design, value mapping, operational modeling, or data analytics will also be valued.

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location
As our Strategy & Transformation Manager you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Right now, our associates in corporate headquarters are expected to work 4 days per week in the office and virtually from your home office the remaining day. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $112,803 to $141,789 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).
The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
