Strategy & Planning Manager
**About the Role** The ACAC Strategy & Planning (S&P) team is in charge of defining the business strategy for the region, running the governance and monitoring performance working closely with Strategic Finance, while also working hand in hand with the local teams in specific projects. ACAC is a region with a diverse portfolio and considerable growth opportunities, and as the Strategy & Planning Manager, you will play a key role for the business by orchestrating and facilitating decision making at the regional level. We are looking for candidates with a strategic mindset, strong business and finance acumen, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in. **What you'll do:** 1. **Vision:** Working closely with the RGM, General Managers and Regional teams to align overall vision 2. **Strategic Ownership:** Define the business’ short and long term strategy, working closely with and advising business leaders in ACAC on topics ranging from specific analyses to annual planning to multi-year visions. Identify trends and propose specific actions to tap into opportunities 3. **Problem Solving & Business Sense:** Define business needs and turn ambiguous, real-world problems, into concrete analyses and solutions 4. **Project/Program Management:** Be an inventive, go-getter multi-tasker, driving prioritization and cross-functional teams to decisions on strategically significant questions. Be able to see the big picture, keeping in mind business priorities while leading key initiatives 5. **Process Improvement:** Identify operational and structural opportunities and help improve or innovate new processes, or simplify existing ones, to keep our local teams as efficient as possible 6. **Governance:** Establish and lead the governance and accountability models to ensure that teams are on track to achieve goals and course correct quickly when needed. 7. **Financial and Analytical Expertise:** Strong quantitative skills using Excel/Google Sheets, work closely with Strategic Finance to deliver the region´s financial results **What you'll need:** 1. **Years of Experience/Industry:** 7+ years in investment banking/consulting/strategy/finance or related experience 2. **Business Understanding:** Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution. Comfortable with data-driven decision-making, applying experience getting in the weeds of data, balanced with the ability to observe the whole picture 3. **Financial analysis experience** to improve our forecasting models, closing gaps to plan, and supporting decision-making process. 4. **Highly analytical with strong problem-solving** skills to dissect complex problems into simple solutions. 5. **Communication:** Spanish and English proficiency. Clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate meaningful insights. Be an exceptional storyteller. 6. **Teamwork and Influencing**: The nature of the team implies constant collaboration and relationship-building with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Marketing, Policy, Legal, Tax, etc.) 7. **Planning & Organization:** Ability to effectively lead and implement highly visible, high risk, broad-scale initiatives and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate PoCs 8. **Self-starter:** the ability to self-serve, investigate, and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role.
