Strategy and Operations Lead, Sellside Monetization
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory. Preferred qualifications: + MBA or graduate degree. + Experience managing and delivering project components with limited guidance. + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority to drive operational excellence, successful delivery of priority initiatives, process improvements, and change management. + Experience problem solving, influencing business leadership, measuring outcomes, and evolving recommendations based on results. + Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reports and presentations by audiences, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that drive results and efficiencies. + Strong analytical skills, including the ability to distill insights from complex data and present actionable recommendations. The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. We build relationships that solve users’ needs, advance our partners’ goals, and further Google’s mission. We build and distribute Google products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Search, Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Retail & Shopping, Payments, Health, Ads & Commerce, and more. Within Global Partnerships, the Sellside organization works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with Google's broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager, across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web. We support and improve ongoing operations in areas such as Sales tools & processes, deal making and contracting, learning & development, Sales enablement services and vendor management. We equip the business for future success by driving strategic planning and decision making, and by managing projects and key initiatives to accelerate growth. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Provide day-to-day strategy and operations support to executive leaders in the Global Partnerships organization (e.g., Directors and VPs), developing clear, and persuasive communications to influence decision-making. + Develop and demonstrate working knowledge of market, product, organizational, and cross-functional nuances, leveraging this expertise to contribute to strategic initiatives and recommend improvements. + Provide day-to-day strategy and operations support to senior leaders in the Sellside organization (e.g., Directors and MDs). + Build trusted relationships with Sellside leadership to effectively advise on shaping the strategic vision that will drive business growth and deliver on OKRs (e.g., strategic planning, identifying and prioritizing key strategic initiatives). + Lead the annual Sellside partner survey, transforming global responses into actionable insights.
