What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment to provide strategy and business transformation solutions for an emergency management client. Our managing consultants lead teams in the execution of high quality services and solutions that improve business operations and drive a positive employee and customer experience. The Managing Consultant will be responsible for the following activities:

Leading a team to facilitate strategic leadership alignment workshops and planning.

Leading a team responsible for documenting existing business processes and designs new processes to improve the operations of an organization.

Applying human centered and Agile principles to client products and engagement initiatives.

Leading a team to consolidate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data of operational customer, and employee data to support data-driven decision-making.

Presenting insights and recommendations for client prioritization and investment.

Conducting customer experience assessments and collect voice of the customer data based on OMB requirements.

Leading teams in the development of change management and communications strategies and accompanying implementations plans.

Performing stakeholder analyses, including segmenting and developing stakeholder personas and journey maps.

Developing stakeholder engagement approaches and initiatives.

Developing multi-channel communications products for communicating with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.

Developing metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of change and communications initiatives and activities.

Preparing for and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings.

Managing multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products.

Prepare a wide range of briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans, communicate program status and progress to senior leaders.


What You Will Need:

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust

Bachelor’s degree -OR- FOUR (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of education

SEVEN (7) or more years of relevant consulting experience

Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications

Experience consulting for the federal government

Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal

Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships
