About Cognizant Enterprise Platform Services
As part of our growth strategy in EMEA, we are hiring several top-class Management Consultants in Benelux, Nordics and Germany, with a strong track record and expertise in Finance and / or HR Transformation. Experienced in areas such as Change Management, HR Transformation, Finance Transformation, and Business Process Improvement. You will be part of our European virtual team, covering our main geographies UK, Germany, Nordics, Benelux and Central Europe.
Your role
As Strategy Advisor Transformations you have the responsibility to guide our customers from a strategic (digital) Business, HR and Finance perspective, providing expert advice, leading engagements and workstreams. You also have a significant contribution to practice development and to the coaching of customers and colleagues in their jobs. As a Strategy Advisor Transformations, you will receive coaching and direct guidance from our Senior Advisory leadership, as well as work from a self-starting perspective, whilst providing exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This includes customers, sales teams, consulting teams, engagement managers, and the Cognizant leadership team.
Responsibilities:
• Consulting Leadership – act in a lead capacity on Digital Business Transformation engagements, including leading assessments and meetings, developing deliverables, providing guidance and direction to other Advisory team members, and delivering trusted business advisor support to clients.
• Organizational Strategy - partner with senior executives to understand organizational perspectives and recommend best-fit methods to execute business functional strategies (Finance, HR, IT), improve operations and performance, and optimize roles and responsibilities.
• Strategic Change - partner with senior executives to define the strategy, business initiatives, and organizational changes needed to gain leadership alignment, enable change leadership, promote stakeholder and employee engagement, enable further organizational change programs and plans.
• Technology Adoption – work with clients to understand the people issues associated with business application and new technology implementations, (e.g. AI, Workday, SAP, Oracle) and ancillary systems. Including but not limited to role re-definition, skill gaps, and change readiness.
• Technology Implementation – partner with senior executives and program managers to understand an organization's inherent capability regarding governance, decision making, data integrity, and technology development to design deployment strategies to set the stage for successful technology implementations.
• Business Development – work collaboratively with internal sales teams as well as external sales teams to understand the needs of the client and develop proposals, respond to RFP’s, assist in writing SOW’s, and present at conferences and trade events to market the Cognizant brand.
• Knowledge Management – develop and maintain offerings, methodologies, tools, and templates to support strategic and implementation engagements from insights gained in prior experiences, researching best practices, and utilizing a continuous feedback loop with clients to ensure deliverables are timely and relevant
• Business Functional Expertise – maintain strong knowledge to keep up with market developments, innovations and advancements in one or several functional expertise, relevant for the job. This includes general business developments in the fields of HRM, Finance and IT. And preferably also deep expertise in one or several business process areas (e.g. Lead to Cash, Record to Report, Hire to Retire, IT Dev Ops, IT Operations). Not in the least in (IT) innovations such as artificial intelligence, and developments in legal and regulatory frameworks in the respective functional areas.
Requirements:
• Strong settlement and business presence in a local market (Germany, Nordics or Netherlands)
• 6+ years relevant experience in a Management Consulting team-oriented environment, or in a comparable internal Advisory role in HR and/or Finance and/or Digital Business Transformation, Data Architecture Consulting, Enterprise Architecture Consulting
• Master’s degree in business economics, IT or other field of study relevant for the job.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Self-Management including attention to detail, organizational and time management, strong inclination to self-development
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations, strong flexible and adaptable inclinations
• Willingness to travel 50%
• Fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages, Dutch, or German
