Your Role
Our team in London is growing and we are looking for talented new proactive Strategist who possesses outstanding problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
What You Will Do
You will be seconded part-time into a global client organisation and work alongside the strategy team on a variety of clients and projects the remainder of the time. This role is fully supported by the London office, and you will have strong connections back to the team. Your responsibilities will include:
Develop processes and methodologies with which to understand and analyse both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of space planning, occupancy and workplace performance for a variety of client organisationsTranslate findings into client-specific strategies that address strategic business goals, specifically in the areas of real estate and facilities, workplace, and organisational developmentIndependently lead and run workplace strategies and change management projects within the Life Sciences sectorLead teams in the successful implementation of complex research and strategy projectsManage Face-to-Face facilitation workshops, staff surveys and conducting research from multiple stakeholders. Presenting the findings to clients and leadership change championsLead client meetings and facilitate small to large group meetingsDevelop written and graphic presentations of data and findings for clientsActively participate in client relationship developmentOversee the information design of data and findings for client reportsYour Qualifications
Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic, open, collaborative environment and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously is a must. A self-motivated team player with a positive, communicative and collaborative approach, you will work in partnership with colleagues across Gensler’s practice areas, as well as with clients, vendors and stakeholders at all levels
Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience in Workplace Strategy and Change ManagementExperience facilitating meetings with diverse stakeholders to reach consensusAbility to create positive relationships with outside design firms and corporate client and stakeholdersExperience in the Life Sciences sector desirableTotally client- and team-oriented, knowing how to balance demands for time and resourcesAmazing collaboration skills, proactive and highly organised are essential with a strong ability to work in a global team environment Design strategy services experience including space planning, real estate scenario planning, space standards, architectural programming, user research, growth projections, test fit preparation and analysisStrong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship-management skillsProactive team player that can work collaboratively and effectively as part of a hybrid, global team and across multiple time zonesThis job description reflects the core activities of the role although there will be changes in the emphasis of duties as required from time to time.
