JOB SUMMARY: Strategic procurement leader that directs packaging procurement activities for U.S. Domestic Manufacturing Operations, ensuring that all products meet GSF’s objectives for price, efficiency, and quality. Supports International Divisions.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage GSF strategic purchasing activities, including price negotiations (RFP)and contract management to ensure competitive pricing and strong supplier relationships. (30%)Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support business unit commercialization and ensure continuity of supply, supply chain optimization, and identify cost savings opportunities. (20%)Develop packaging sub-category strategies, utilizing the Golden Acceleration System (GAS), while ensuring the continuity of supply, quality, and service levels. (10%)Set up new suppliers and packaging materials for relevant business units. (5%)Create and manage assured supply and packaging projects within commercialization platforms. (10%)Evaluate system-wide use of packaging materials to assess productivity opportunities. (5%)Forecast raw material prices to support customers' pricing calendars. (5%)Interact formally and informally with vendors to communicate GSF values, mission, and strategic direction to enhance supplier relationships and project management. (5%)Support and perform other assigned duties as necessary for the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, supply chain, or economics from an accredited college or university.
Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in purchasing and/or supply chain management in the food and beverage industry.
