The Opportunity:
As a CACI-SOAS Strategic Plans and Policy Advisor, you will support Task Force 40-25 and US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), the Theater Special Operations Commands and other Strategic Partners across the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threat, Operations and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) enterprise. As needed, represents TF 40-25 for operations integration with staffs across the SOF and Interagency/Intelligence Community. Develops and presents briefings to senior leaders, General Officers, and Distinguished Visitors on global topics of operational interest. Develops and maintains partnerships to encourage analytic collaboration and exchange of best practices and lessons learned. Fuses information from multiple analytic teams to identify transregional trends in adversary activities, capabilities, and vulnerabilities; identify operational opportunities for transregional effects. Implement systems and processes to manage production workflow of multiple combined government-contractor teams.
Responsibilities:
Integrate detailed threat analysis and assessments against national and global threats to identify risks, gaps, and vulnerabilities and recommend operational opportunities. Leverages and delivers the tools, expert joint and Army planning expertise, and tradecraft required to provide timely, relevant, actionable, and understandable options to inform decision-makers and influence outcomes.Conducts all-source research, analysis, and target development through various reporting, processes, and databases.Teaches, coaches, and mentors supported SOF unit personnel to master these activities.Collaborates with Analysts, Planners, and Integrators in developing a range of operations and intelligence products, materials, and training solutions.Qualifications:
Required:
Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance. A bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience, or 15+ years of experience in SOFA minimum of five years’ experience in operations coordination roles of responsibility within an O-5 or above tactical, operational, or strategic-level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope. Experience in Joint and Inter-Agency Sensitive Activities planning and execution.Working knowledge of the tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real-time or near-real-time knowledge management systems. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail. Must be willing to submit to a polygraphDesired:
SOF Operational Design and workflow Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations in a deployed environment. The proposed salary range for this position is:
