Administrative Assistant

Job Description:        

The Administrative Assistant will provide support to Blackstone’s Strategic Partners senior leadership. The responsibilities include:

Managing calendar(s) including scheduling internal and external appointments, confirming meetings, coordinating with other assistantsAnswering calls and acting as a gatekeeper, redirecting inquiries to other professionals when appropriate, as well as client liaisonActing as back-support for other senior professionalsCoordinating travel arrangements including flights, visas/passports, cars, hotels, and other reservationsCompletion of detailed corporate expenses including tracking receipts and reimbursementsBooking conference rooms for internal and external meetings, meeting and greeting guests, registering guests in visitor systemCoordinating on-going group meetings, managing team meeting agendasMaintaining and organizing filesMonitoring inventory suppliesRole may require some work after regular business hours to do time sensitive tasksOwning the agenda, scheduling and various logistics around investment committee meetingsCoordinate and drive various culture initiativesAd hoc projects

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.

The successful candidate should have:

5+ years of assistant experience, including experience with senior leadershipAbility to utilize discretion and independent judgmentTeam oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environmentStrong communication skills; high EQHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks and deadlinesPerform duties with the highest level of confidentiality and integrityExperience with coordinating travel arrangementsIndependent worker with strong follow-through skillsAbility to build relationships with key players and managementCreative thinkerExtensive familiarity with Microsoft suiteFamiliarity with Concur is preferred

Expected annual base salary range:

$100,000 - $130,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
