Strategic Marketing & Innovation Manager

Position Summary:

As Strategic Marketing and Innovation Manager, you will lead the Marketing and Innovation team of the Concrete Business Unit, and you will be responsible for defining our Marketing and Brand Awareness strategy, as well as leading our Customer-Back Innovation (CBI) process to ensure delivery of above-market organic growth by identifying the best opportunities in the market and consequently engineer a set of differentiated solutions to allow our business to reach full potential.

Primary responsibilities:

Define our overall marketing strategy, including digital, and cascade it to the team being sure that everyone is aligned and engaged, supporting sales initiatives and performanceDefine our strategy for all CBI projects, manage all 80 projects and the relationships with the key stakeholdersEnsure that the CBI process is a consequence of the main pain points identified in the market to provide solutions to our end-usersDefine our CBI yield YoY, ensuring design and delivery of our path to full potentialAnalyse market data, consumer behaviour, and campaign performance to continuously optimise marketing strategiesCreate and manage the marketing budget, optimizing resources among the processProvide the right tools to the team to have efficient and effective execution of all strategies, challenge the current process to ensure performanceStructure and standardise all the processes in the Marketing and Innovation area, balancing corporate guidelines with specific business needsProvide stimulus to the team to find new opportunities, directly understand and analyse new markets/ applications, study and anticipate the evolution of the current marketsCollaborate with segment leaders to define the AP and LRP strategy for the segments defining how to support growthCollaborate with other marketing, CBI, and engineering leaders across the platform, representing the business unit in CBI discussionsRole model for ITW values: Integrity, Respect, Trust, Shared Risk and Simplicity
