Strategic Marketing Data Intern

CoorsTek’s Strategic Marketing team is a unit within our Commercial Center of Excellence that is tasked with providing global market intelligence to commercial leaders and sales teams.  We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven quantitatively oriented intern to help provide data support for the team.  Our team has a catalogue of market, customer, and competitor intelligence data sets in various formats.  The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming these data sets into a database-friendly format for compilation with internal data.  The intern will report to the Senior Manager of Commercial Systems and Data Analytics who will provide direction and support on the project.

Intern Duties and Responsibilities

Accumulate and catalogue all external data sources used by the Strategic Marketing team.Develop database-friendly format for storing these data sets.Transform data into this format.Organize data based upon dates, markets, and other characteristics.Provide strategy for maintenance of data sets and regular automated updates for subscription data.

Requirements and Qualifications

Fluency in MS Excel.Knowledge of data formatting and data transformation.Ability to self-manage and work through tasks independently.Problem solving and analytical skills pertaining to data.

Employment Details

12-month intern employment at 5 hours per week during Spring or Fall semesters.Potential for ~15 hours during the summer is negotiable.On-site is preferred – Remote will be considered later in the project.

Target Hiring Range

Hourly: USD 19.00 - USD 20.00
