Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesMettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Strategic Analyst responsible for supporting the strategy formation and execution with internal and external data to support or accelerate decision making. This role includes various forms of research, support in business case calculation, creation of dashboards or the preparation of presentations for top management. As a Strategic Analyst you will need to have business curiosity to deliver business analytics in various formats – descriptive, predictive, quantitative and qualitative – to facilitate strategic decision making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identify business opportunities by conducting primarily data driven research and provide insight to the respective business users to support decision makingResearch and as necessary acquire data to build a data pool critical for business analysisContextualize data and/or test data validity or its finding by e.g. reviewing them with stakeholders. Upon need provide recommendation to further improve data qualityCommunicate your findings in an expressive way, easy for the receiver to understand Act as key interface to key stakeholders such as data team, corporate finance, product teams to gather data and insights that is key for data-driven decision-makingParticipate in workshops and actively contribute in preparation or subsequent researchSupport the quantification of strategies to challenge its viability from data point of viewProvide reports on key strategy to monitor performance and as necessary develop and maintain dashboards Work with other data specialists globally to continuously expand your knowledge how to use data to create new insights
What You Need to SucceedBasic corporate financial understanding and sound business savviness.
