Strategic Account Manager - DHA
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Public Sector Account Executive. In this role, you will work with several U.S. federal cabinet level agencies and will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting, discovery calls/meetings, resource planning, negotiations, closing and customer satisfaction to ensure new and repeat subscription business.    You will be expected to and build and maintain relationships within assigned accounts with various of stakeholders, decision makers, and most importantly, C-suite executives.  You will be responsible for working with an extended account team to promote sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and create a strategic plan for each account and the execution of identified/qualified opportunities.  The ability to link an agency’s mission, strategic plans, and executive priorities and challenges, to a strong Red Hat value proposition drives success.
What you will doSell the complete Red Hat’s solutions portfolio within assigned enterprise accountsCreate and implement account plans to meet revenue goalsDevelop and close sustainable bookings across technologiesUnderstand customer business issues and present Red Hat’s offerings as the best option to solve themManage a complex sales cycle from prospecting, conducting discovery calls, negotiating, and closingWork closely with your extended Red Hat team and external partners to identify key projects, programs, and offices through which to sell Red Hat’s solutionsMaintain and develop new relationships within your assigned accountsWhat you will bring5+ years of field sales experience in Federal sales with a record of success5+ years of experience selling enterprise software and solutionsExperience working with customers to find suitable solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domainAbility to maintain a focus on solutions selling in an environment with multiple offerings and solutionsExperience in consultative customer engagement with a major enterprise software company, or in the sales division of an enterprise software resellerExperience selling to DHA with established relationships strongly preferred

The salary range for this position is $258,240.00 - $426,240.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
