Responsibilities:Collaborate with functional leadership to develop annual plan that aligns to new and existing growth objectivesDevelop and execute growth strategies for key accounts, adjusting plans as needed Build and manage relationships with internal teams to enhance collaboration and drive resultsUtilize data analytics to improve decision-making, optimize performance, and adapt to market trendsDevelop strong knowledge of industry trends and market drivers related to modes, products, services, pricing, and sectors that may impact strategic planning or executionIdentify and pursue new customer opportunities, manage customer interactions, and support growth strategies through upselling and cross-sellingEnsure customer satisfaction by meeting performance expectations and maintaining open communicationLeverage technology, tools, and collaboration with internal teams to drive efficiencies and execute contracts effectivelyStay informed of external product, industry, and vertical trendsCommunicate initiatives and updates to team members, lead improvement and change efforts, and foster knowledge sharingMentor employees in professional and customer relations and manage conflicts with a focus on resolution Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 8 years of consultative account management experience with demonstrated success generating revenue or business growth in a client facing roleAbility to travel up to 60%
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum 6 years of commercial experience in the transportation and logistics industryStrong knowledge of C.H. Robinson’s carrier and customer-facing business, including pricing strategies, reporting and analyticsAbility to work independently to effectively manage customer growthExperience consulting with multiple stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency presenting to both internal and external audiencesDemonstrated negotiation, collaboration, relationship building and influencing skillsValues a diverse and inclusive work environment Questioning if you meet the mark?
