Job Title: Storeroom Coordinator
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Flexible shift options: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
Location: Baltimore, MD
Pay Rate: $20-$23/Hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Storeroom Coordinator to manage inventory operations and ensure materials are accurately stocked, tracked, and distributed to support plant maintenance and operations. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, with a mix of hands-on inventory control and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inventory control for plant stockroom
Maintain and update the Maximo inventory database
Receive, store, and issue materials required for daily operations and maintenance
Prepare and stage materials for work orders listed on daily schedules
Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory with system data
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; identify root causes
Coordinate inventory levels and min/max quantities with purchasing and accounting teams
Maintain proper physical storage systems and materials tracking
Perform basic computer tasks, including sending emails and data entry
Follow safety procedures; lifting limited to 40 lbs. unassisted
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED (required)
1+ year of inventory or storeroom experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (required)
Forklift certification preferred (training available if not currently certified)
Experience with Maximo asset management software is a plus
Skills & Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
Comfortable using inventory systems and standard office software
Team player with ability to collaborate across departments
Familiarity with manufacturing practices and inventory workflows
