The French's Food Company, a subsidiary of McCormick & Company, Inc. and a global leader in flavor is seeking a full-time Maintenance Storekeeper for the plant located in Springfield, MO.
Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Team Manager, manages and directs activities and processes related to the daily management of parts inventory, receipt of incoming maintenance parts, purchasing of replenishment stock and consumables. The incumbent will support multiple departments and is responsible for completing cycle counts, consumption reports, enter data into the site CMMS, stockroom organization, parts kiting, and compliance with the work order process.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Acceptable attendance required. Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review. High school diploma or equivalent. Five years of maintenance or stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to investigate and solve problems, ability to assist with diagnosing mechanical problems and resolve minor mechanical and processing problems. Knowledge of CMMS, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SAP or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool. Demonstrated ability to identify maintenance parts and consumables. Demonstrated practice of leadership principles required and formal leadership training. Demonstrated ability to pro-actively encourage continuous improvement and daily problem-solving initiatives. Proven ability to coach, train and influence while demonstrating a deep respect for the capabilities of all people. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking skills to determine risk assessment. Experience effectively leading and facilitating team and cross-functional meetings. Ability to work overtime/weekends required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillar experience Demonstrated experience with Financial forecasting or budgeting Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio Experience with high speed, food packaging and processing equipment
