1. The ability to maintain logs on movement and inventory of stock items and tools.

2. Inspects Suppliers delivery of Engineering materials and supplies for conformity with quantity and quality specifications.

3. Stores and arranges stocks for ease of issuance, maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storerooms.

4. Receive goods and equipment including chemicals and fuel.

5. Issues materials and supplies per approved requisitions.

6. Keeps records of materials received or issued.

7. Initiates purchase requisitions for Engineering materials and supplies, assists Purchasing Department and the Engineering Administrator.

8. Conducts monthly inventory of materials and supplies comparing stock card balances with physical count.

9. Computes material costs for work orders.

10. Maintains spare part manuals, catalogues, list of suppliers.

11. Organize and maintain the stores and stocks in an acceptable condition.

12. Follow safety procedures in storing items at store.

13. The ability to ensure effective communication and good relations between the Engineering Department and other departments within the resort.

14. The ability to take orders and follow up with requests.

15. The ability to prepare and follow through on any projects as outlined by Engineering Management Staff.

16. The ability to ensure timely completion of all assigned responsibilities.

17. The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels and encourage staff to do the same.

18. The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.

19. The ability to follow proper payroll procedures.

20. The ability to answer telephones according to Four Seasons' standards.

21. The ability to perform clerical duties such as general typing (e-mail), filing and telephone answering for the Engineering Department for order taking or similar.

22. The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area at all times

23. Must possess excellent organizational skills that will enable a adequate filing system whereby necessary documents can be obtained immediately.

24. The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

25. The ability to handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.

26. The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management of, but not restricted to, civil works, finishes, painting and varnish.

27. The ability to report any damages observed within the Resort area, whether it be guestroom, public areas or any employee housing units through the Engineering reporting systems in place. Reporting to be done within one hour of discovery.
