Job Description
The APAC Stores Recruiter drives the recruiting & hiring strategy for the A&F Co. APAC store fleet. They play a unique role in driving business growth by ensuring our stores have the right people to maximize the success of our portfolio of brands. They are responsible for full life cycle recruiting for management talent in China, Hong Kong, and Japan stores. The recruiter develops targeted attraction strategies, delivers a best-in-class candidate experience, and leverages their expertise in talent evaluation to bring the highest caliber talent to our stores. The APAC Stores Recruiter supports part-time and seasonal staffing by developing and training store managers on how to maximize all recruiting tools. They leverage their natural curiosity to build a detailed understanding of the market both internally and externally and can drive innovative staffing solutions to deliver results in even the most challenging markets. They are authentically able to share our unique employee value proposition with candidates and build strong relationships with our store managers and leaders. They are highly independent and able to work with cross-functional partners to drive results. This person is uniquely skilled in all aspects of recruiting, including data, systems & processes, talent evaluation, training, employer branding, and candidate experience. This person has a passion for our brands, culture, and people and is a champion for bringing diverse perspectives to our A&F family of brands.
This position based out of our Home Office in Shanghai, supporting stores in China, Hong Kong, and Japan.
What Will You Be Doing?
Lead APAC stores recruiting strategy for 50+ stores across the A&F Co. portfolio of brandsDevelop new and innovative localized attraction strategies that drive diverse, qualified talent to A&F brands in China, Hong Kong and Japan.Manage full lifecycle recruiting for management roles in APAC stores from open role to onboarding; prioritizing both quality and speedTrack hiring metrics and market insights and share with store management; leverage data to inform market strategy and process improvementIn growing markets, support new store openings by providing recruiting tools, insights and training to store managers to build their teamResearch & identify market specific staffing solutions and technologies; partner with RMs, DMs, store operations, finance, legal and procurement to pilot and deliver using a test and learn approachSupport store managers in recruiting part-time & seasonal talent by delivering coaching and training on how to maximize recruiting toolsCollaborate with store HRBPs, and legal teams to ensure high compliance with hiring nuances across countriesMaintain a constant understanding of the market's needs through strong relationships and alignment with RM, DMs and Store LeadersDevelop and execute to creative proactive recruiting strategies for high volume or challenging to fill marketsProvide a best-in-class candidate experienceCreate and deliver a market specific employer branding strategy leveraging social media, job boards and other branding platforms Required to travel up to 35% of the time, to attend local recruiting events, engage with key universities, provide store training, etc.What Do You Need To Bring?
