About the RoleBGIS is seeking a dedicated Stores Person to support our Facilities team by managing stock, logistics, and warehousing functions efficiently. This role requires a flexible and adaptable approach to ensure full compliance with BGIS policies and procedures while meeting business needs.
Key Responsibilities Efficiently receive, distribute, and organize stock/spares within designated areas. Perform daily replenishment of delivered stock items across multiple locations. Conduct regular stocktakes and update inventory levels accordingly. Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate reorders as required. Provide administrative support related to stock management and deliveries. Ensure full compliance with BGIS Quality, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and Environmental Management Systems. Qualifications & Experience Essential: High School Certificate or equivalent. Current manual Driver’s Licence. Ability to lift up to 20kg as required. Experience in warehouse environments, including stock picking, put-away procedures, and stocktake processes. Knowledge of receipting goods on delivery. Strong administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible approach to problem-solving. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage various duties efficientlyDesiable
