Clothing retailer searching for a highly experienced store manager for retail operations in the Western Cape region
Duties and responsibilities
To increase sales through the effective implementation of the operational strategy
Exceeding customer service through the implementation of the key store drivers
To manage costs daily in line with the budget and sales performance
To minimize stock losses through the effective implementation of the shrinkage strategy and accurate stock counts
To effectively manage stock to optimize sales
Effective management of people to optimize daily operations
Requirements
2 years retail experience which includes at least one year in a supervisory and or management position
Matric or equivalent
Tertiary qualifications related to retail/business will be an advantage
Must be energetic
Outstanding merchandise management stock and cost control skills
The capacity to maintain high store standards
Must have excellent written and oral skills in English as well as a competence in a second official language would be a definite advantage
