Store Management - Flagship Director, Retail - Rockefeller

THE TEAM

The mission of the Boutique Management Department is to lead our specialized teams to sell clothes and deliver world-class experiences.

THE OPPORTUNITY

With the opening of new Flagship locations, Aritzia is growing, and our Boutique Management Team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to lead our largest square footage, multi-floor boutique in a top global destination. In this role you will lead the teams responsible for selling clothes, delivering world-class client experiences, and building loyal client relationships. You will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across one of our largest Flagship boutiques through inspirational leadership and robust partnership with your cross-functional partners. THE ROLE

As the Flagship Director, Retail you will lead the team to:

Sell clothes, deliver world-class experiences, and build loyal client relationships.

Create an optimal balance of sales and service by having the right people, in the right place at the right time.             

Seamlessly own or escalate the invisible details that enable an exceptional shopping experience.

Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Flagship Director, Retail has:

Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and/or applicable certifications

Proven people leadership skills, with a reputation of working with and leading highly engaged, and productive teams of approximately; 10 Direct Reports, 10-15 Indirect Partners, and ~150 Retail Associates

A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles

The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners and manage multiple stakeholders within and outside of the region in pursuit of shared business outcomes

The skills to represent their boutique to executive level leadership within the business

The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team

The skills and/or education that are an asset to perform in the role and the commitment to continuously learn and develop oneself and inspire growth in others

A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value

A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate

A great sense of style, representing Aritzia’s brand, aesthetic and style fundamentals while setting trends and influencing culture

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $200,000–$250,000 USD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
