THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE We are looking for an innovative Retail Store Design Program Manager to join Ulta Beauty’s Store Design Team. The Store Design Team is responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of new stores, relocations, remodels, strategic initiatives and special projects that impact Ulta Beauty. This role will build and iterate processes that will help streamline design workflows, manage the pipeline of projects, track current and future projects, and coordinate with cross functional leaders to ensure critical milestones are achieved. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in retail store design, program management, and project management. We are looking for someone who can develop best-in-class processes and can effectively drive multiple projects once turned over from Ulta Beauty’s Concept Development team. This position will collaborate with leaders overseeing the New Store Development and Strategic Initiatives teams and be the primary POC for internal and external stakeholders including Construction, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Real Estate. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. YOU'LL ACCOMPPLISH THESE GOALS BY: Develop a tool to effectively track the current state of the Ulta Beauty fleet of stores against upcoming initiatives across store design, construction, R&M, and merchandising. Oversee monthly Store Design and Construction calls to discuss active projects, new fixture status, strategic initiatives and other priorities. Manage the Design Change Request (DCR) process, track prototype addendums and construction bulletins. Be the POC between Store Design and Procurement to manage and implement the bi-annual RFP initiatives. Act as the POC between Store Design and Concept Development to create the roadmap of implementing net new fixtures into comp and new doors once turned over from the Concept Development Team. Cross reference store lists for new stores and comp doors against active projects. Coordinate with procurement when new fixtures are introduced, and others are exited from the package. Lead the integration of new store concepts and design projects while ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to store operations. Own the Monthly Store Planning Schedule and bi-weekly internal review sessions. Manage the critical path and key milestone dates of projects in development and ensure design dates are met. Act as primary POC with internal and external stakeholders to remove blockers and coordinate deliverables. Coordinate with Procurement and Construction teams on budget considerations and identifying opportunities for value engineering for specific projects. Assist with the Annual Business Planning (ABP) process by initiating budgeting and estimating exercises with procurement and external business partners. Providing clear and concise communication and reporting with cross-functional teams and senior leadership Manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to ensure on time delivery and adherence to budgets. THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS 6+ years of Store Design, Construction, and/or Program Management Experience. BA in architecture, interior design, or related field. Ability to read and understand construction plans and terminology. Must be a team player. Must have strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and coordination of drawings. Proficient in Bluebeam and project management software. #LI-JR #LI-Hybrid The pay range for this position is $86,500.00 - $116,900.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
