The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Storage Administrator, Journeyman who will provide essential support and management of data storage solutions for the USSTRATCOM enterprise. This role will focus on ensuring the integrity, availability and security of critical data assets while optimizing storage performance and capacity.
The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Storage Administrator, Journeyman:
Deploys, configures, and maintains storage systems
Monitors storage arrays, disk provisioning, and zoning for optimal performance
Monitors storage capacity and plans for future growth to ensure uninterrupted services
Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to data recovery and system integrity
Analyzes and optimizes storage performance by fine-tuning configurations and balancing workloads
Generates reports on storage usage, performance, and incidents
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments
Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Qualifications:
Required:
Top Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3 years of experience in data storage administration or related IT roles
Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 451 - Basic; A+ or CND or Network+; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
AND
Additional Cert: Desired : NetApp Certified Professional
Proficiency in storage technologies (e.g., SAN, NAS) and data management tools
Strong understanding of data security practices and regulatory compliance requirements
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
