Position Purpose:

 

As a member of the Precious Metals team, the employee will work with our sales, back-office, other depositories teams to support our customers. The Precious Metals Vault Assistant Lead will be responsible for helping the managers implement and administer policies and procedures as well as monitoring and controlling daily operations and assisting long-term logistics and the precious metals storage facility as specified by management as well as working in conjunction with additional business units. The employee will work alongside Management to develop and maintain a professional employee-centered culture, a safe and secure operation, a high level of service delivery, and cost effective and productive operations. This includes operational responsibility for all the precious metals vault and facility security operations as mandated by company standards and procedures, and as directed by on-site & external management.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

Work closely with leads to ensure accurate stock ins and stock outsVerify & process incoming shipments Check inventory and order replenishment of suppliesAssist management with COMEX related operationsPhysical counting and reconciliation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisMaking sure order fulfillment shipments are packed accordingly Assist management in preparing and verifying audits to ensure proper balancing of the vaultEnsure accurate monthly billing Coordinate daily order processing in a timely and efficient manner Maintain availability to perform all tasks and to cover for the Vault Lead in case of absenceIdentify areas of need / preventing possible financial lossEnsuring staff is adhering to all rules and protocols set forth by the companyCommunicate effectively in a collaborative, complex and high performing team environment.Assist management in determining solutions to issuesCommunicate with transportation, sales, and forwarding teams Participate in the entire lifecycle of the vault operations including requirements, development, quality assurance, deployment, documentation, and support.Other duties as required Qualifications

Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essentialDemonstrated ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to remain flexible during times of change and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly, efficiently, and positively.Must be able to learn, understand and apply technology.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and proactively contribute to project and team success Must have excellent interpersonal skill with the ability to build and maintain client relationships at all business levels

Experience in the precious metals industry preferredKnowledgeable in COMEX rules is a plus

Education / Certification Requirements:

On-site 5 Days a weekWill need to be flexible to work beyond normal shift as well as weekends from time to time.

Hiring Salary Range $90000-$105000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.)   Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.  This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
