Stockroom Supervisor

THE WORK Key Responsibilities: \- Manage daily stockroom operations, including: \- Coordinating with receiving to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials \- Putting away materials in a safe and efficient manner \- Picking materials for orders and delivering complete orders to the production floor \- Coordinating disposition of scrap and no demand material \- Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards \- Optimize utilization of stockroom locations to maximize efficiency and minimize waste \- Ensure a 2\-day turnaround for delivery of orders to the production floor Leader Responsibilities: \- Coordinating recruitment, selection, and training of new employees \- Conducting performance assessments and providing feedback and coaching \- Assigning work and managing employee schedules \- Administering salary and recognition/disciplinary actions as needed \- Provide guidance and direction to subordinate employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively \- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among employees \- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs \- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of stockroom operations with overall business objectives\. Our functional group, the Production Control team, is composed of 32 professionals with a range of skill and experience in which will propel your growth and capabilities\. Furthermore, our team actively collaborates across various integrated teams to ensure seamless support throughout the production process, ensuring successful delivery of contracted projects for our valued customers\. Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a stockroom or inventory management environment Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices, lean manufacturing concepts Understanding of heavy machinery operations and safety procedures Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities\. **Desired Skills:** Bilingual in Spanish and English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers in both languages\. **Clearance Level:** None **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
