About The Opportunity

The Stockroom Coordinator is responsible for the issuing, receiving, coordinating, and stocking of general consumables, drilling accessories, and supplies at the assigned operational site. Knowledge of industry stock supplies and their use preferred but not required. Must be able to operate a forklift for receiving and shipping purposes, be able to safely operate a company motor vehicle, and tow a trailer. In addition, a qualified candidate must possess or is willing to obtain a state issued medical card. This position has no supervisory responsibility.

What you will be doing:

Receive and disperse supplies in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain adequate inventory levels. Provide information and recommendations about stock supplies to the Procurement Manager. Perform regular functions with a computer including, Email, Virtual Calls, Data Entry, and others as required. Maintain drill accessories inventory log via Inventory Systems. Perform daily, weekly and monthly inventory audits. Receive in Purchase Orders and issue out drill accessories to Job Numbers via Inventory System. Maintain stock room in an orderly and professional manner. Verify quantities and unpack, inspect, and stock material. Unload drill accessory deliveries via forklift or Lull. Read work order to determine priority, number and size of drill bits to be delivered. Perform or schedule maintenance for the facility and equipment. Safely operate company vehicle for daily offsite deliveries. Ability to operate a vehicle while towing a trailer. Bilingual English/Spanish a PLUS Other duties as assigned.

In order to be successful in this role, here is what we will need from you:

High school degree or equivalent. General industry knowledge. Good oral communications skills. Must be flexible and able to make decisions that are in the company’s best interest. Ability to perform essential functions of the position, including the ability to lift 50 - 80 lbs with stooping and bending 30 – 40% of the time. Ability to work inside office as well as outside environment in all weather conditions, including working on uneven and loose surfaces. Work from 7:30am to 4:00pm, with overtime as required. Ability to operate a forklift. Operate a vehicle while towing a trailer Possess a valid state driver’s license as well as an acceptable driver’s record as defined by the Company’s insurance carrier Ability to obtain DOT medical certificate and pass ATF screenings.

About You

You are a self-starter with experience working in a stockroom or similar environment with the ability to safely operate a forklift and company motor vehicle, as well as tow a 40ft flatbed trailer. You are comfortable using computer database applications, including spreadsheets, to manage inventory and purchase orders. You prefer hands-on work where you can contribute to the success of a team.
