JOB TITLE: Stock Controller

REPORTING TO: Warehouse Controller   LOCATION: Johannesburg Meadowdale Warehouse

PURPOSE OF POSITION

\n

The Stock controller is responsible for Ensuring that the Kanban stock levels meet company’s needs, monitoring shipments to customers/subcontractors as well as Internal transfers between departments within one business enterprise.  

\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nWeekly Kanban counts and Daily stock Audit.\nCycle count management and Variance investigations. \nStock receiving, scanning of supplier’s invoices and storage in accordance with pre-established standards of work,\nSign off on all order despatch in accordance with pre-established standards of work as well as management of POD Folder,\nProject stock Management,\nTrack Shipments, book collections and address any delays,\nUpdate of daily management boards,\nOther Ad Hoc Tasks\n\n

 

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

\n\nMatric with at least partial warehouse/Supply chain Qualification

Experience/Knowledge       

\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in warehouse\nHigh Level of Accuracy\nSAP Business one\nMatric qualification \nSupply chain/warehouse Qualification preferred\nVery good analytical skills\nGood communication skills both written and verbal\nStrong Administration Skills        Interpersonal and communication skills\n\n
