Van Buren Twp - Full time, day shift Job Summary Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to receiving, stocking and delivery of medications within an acute care or non-acute care pharmacy. Performs pharmacy functions, not requiring a license to support the operations of the department. Essential Functions Outpatient Pharmacy: + Receives and signs for incoming medications comparing items and quantities received to purchase order. + Assists in stocking medication within the pharmacy. + Rotates stock and maintains a clean stock area. + Packages and ships home delivery prescriptions. + Orders shipping supplies. + Responds to customer requests for package tracking information. Qualifications + Required High School Diploma or equivalent A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED. + Prefer previous hospital pharmacy experience or graduate of a pharmacy technician training program.
