Job Responsibilities:

The Sterile Processing Tech Lead assembles complex trays.  Prioritizes instruments and uses critical thinking skills to provide solutions for OR needs.  Assembles instrumentation accurately and efficiently.  Assumes leadership and supervisory role within the department.  Decontaminates instruments in a safe and appropriate manner.  Ensures sterility of all processed items. 

 

Position Requirements:

Certification - Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or CBSPD certification Upon Start, certification from The International Association of Healthcare Central  Service Materiel Management (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).  RCST required.  Licensure - None required Experience - 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing Education - High School or GED
