Wood is recruiting for a Steel Structure and Non Pressure Parts Design Engineer to join its Power &Industrial, Steam Generation System (Boilers) business, global leader in the delivery of project, engineering, equipment and technical services to the energy and industrial markets.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Steel Structure & Non Pressure Parts engineer, to participate in our Engineering & Technical department with the following expertise:

Perform the function of Structural Engineer on large or complex projects, including Design and Supply of Power plants Boiler´s steel structure and non-pressure parts.  Perform steel and non-pressure parts calculations such as:  Performs technical calculations and technical reports.  Prepares technical data sheets, material takeoff and specifications.  Prepares, verifies and/or approves drawings related to the technical calculations performed. Check, comment, and approval of Steel structure and Non pressure parts shop drawings.
