Onin Staffing is seeking an experience structural steel painter! This is a great opportunity with a well established company with potential for growth and advancement within the company!
Job Duties Can Include, but are not limited to:
-Surface preparation: Cleaning, scraping, wire brushing, steam cleaning, or abrasive blasting surfaces to prepare them for painting
-Select and mix ingredients to prepare coating substances according to specifications, using paddles or mechanical mixers.
-Applying paint and protective coatings and paints to steel structures and beams using spray guns or manual brushing
- Examining finished surfaces to ensure they meet specifications and retouching any defective areas
-Melt or heat coating materials to specified temperatures.
Work Experience
The optimal candidate will:
-Have at least one year experience in structural steel painting
-Have the ability to read job orders and inspect workpieces to determine work procedures and materials required.
-The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions
