Reference PE002993 Location Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth Package None-negotiable Description Our client in the Manufacturing industry is currently looking to employ a Statistical Technician to their team in Port Elizabeth.
Requirements:
2–3 years in a Quality/Process/Statistical environment (3–5 years is advantageous). Technical National Higher Diploma in Engineering (BTech or equivalent, Statistics). Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) (Six Sigma Green Belt is advantageous). MSA’s, SPC, high statistical understanding. Data fluent, able to extract and analyse data using visualization software (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel, Minitab, Shop ware). Understanding of calibration processes. Responsibilities:
Data mining to support statistical controls, defect reduction strategies, and scrap/claims analyses. Process ownership of the calibration process. Develop and improve analytical reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to identify out-of-control product and process characteristics. Contribute to Six Sigma/CI projects for The Company’s Manufacturing. Participate in Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies to support statistical interpretation. Use systems effectively to identify calibration needs for all measuring equipment related to product quality.
