Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Statistical Assistant based in New York, New York. As a Statistical Assistant, you will be engaging in a variety of responsibilities within the realm of data analysis and project coordination. This role is crucial in the design and implementation of cross-divisional projects, automation of manual processes, and development of comprehensive reports and presentations. Responsibilities: • Engage in the analysis and understanding of business requirements to effectively design and implement cross-divisional projects. • Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, coordinating with information technology and business teams regarding data sources, metrics, analytics, and reports. • Utilize your technical expertise to automate manual processes and reporting, fostering efficiency within the organization. • Compile and compute data following statistical formulas, this data will be used in data analysis and/or statistical studies. • Work with complex data sets to comprehend problems and propose procedures using various analytical and statistical approaches. • Respond to ad hoc requests for data, aggregations, and visualizations, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely information. • Conduct research and analysis of data, system flows, and challenges within the organization. • Develop documentation including data dictionaries, policies, and procedures to ensure clarity and uniformity within the organization. • Design and prepare periodic reports and presentations related to regulatory compliance and cybersecurity intelligence as per the organization's requirements. • Prepare business analytics and assist in preparing metrics and reporting to provide insights for decision-making processes. Requirements • Possess strong skills in Documentation and Reporting • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management • Understanding of Procedures and Policy Compliance • Capable of conducting Research to ensure Quality and Design • Experience in Project Management is required • Comfortable with creating and delivering Presentations • Background in Finance is a plus • Familiarity with Hiring Processes and dealing with Vendors • Able to work with Spreadsheets and Automation tools • Skilled in Metric Reporting and Data Analysis • Ability to work with Stakeholders and manage Risk • Experience in Submission of Statistics and Business Requirement Documents • Knowledge in Cyber Security would be an advantage • Strong foundation in Mathematics is essential TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
