The Opportunity 


At EY, we are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to join our FinCrime Technology & Innovation team, a place of digital and technological innovation where we strive to build a better working world through the power of people, technology, and innovation. We are a strong team of makers and doers who enjoy the challenge of solving today’s business challenges.
As a Functional Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to craft and deliver digital solutions. You will work closely with clients and subject matter experts to identify and analyze specific business requirements, conduct gap analyses, and develop strategies and solutions to address these requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Gather and interpret business requirements Interpret business needs and convert them into functional requirements for implementation Lead design workshops for optimized solutions and facilitate communication between business and implementation teams Stay abreast of best practices and market trends in technology architectures Identify and characterize technology exploration initiatives EY.AI - in this role, your capabilities are augmented by artificial intelligence. With AI-powered solutions your analyses, insights and innovative ideas will reach a higher level. Starting with a series of training sessions, you will then use EYQ - your virtual assistant, along with other unique tools often available exclusively at EY. We continuously invest in innovation to provide you with a work environment where you can focus on the most interesting aspects of your job and create the best solutions for clients.

 

Skills and Attributes for Success 

 

Bachelor's degree in computer science  or business 3+ years of software design experience in consulting or banking Proficient in English Expertise in Agile methodologies for effective application development Ability to interpret organizational objectives into information system goals Knowledge of technology architectures' best practices and market trends Strong autonomy, problem-solving, and communication skills
