What You’ll Be DoingMonitors and operates plant equipment to maintain safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations.Makes adjustments to control systems to optimize performance.Conducts rounds to check conditions of plant equipment and records operational data on log sheets.Investigates changes in instrument readings and equipment operation.Recognizes and mitigates operating difficulties to minimize plant downtime.
