Standardisation Engineer

We are expanding and therefore we are looking for a new Standardisation Engineer to join our team!

 

If you are interested in standards and like to work with experts from different departments in combination with coordination - this is the job for you!
 

The team

You will belong to the group (EMCC) Corporate Standard, Export Control and Material Compliance that are a part of the Product Compliance department at Scania R&D. 

 

You will work closely together with a team of inspiring and engaged colleagues with the purpose to coordinate internal and external standardization work.  We support the whole Scania organization regarding standards and together with standardization functions  within other TRATON brand writing Common standards (CVS) 

 

We foster a collaborative environment where everyone actively participates. As a new employee, you will receive full support from all team members. Our group is divided into three teams: Export Control (3 members), Material Compliance (3 members), and Standardisation (5 members).
 

Your role

You will coordinate the work of writing new standards in collaboration with experts, as well as the periodic reviews of these standards.

Additionally, you will manage external standardization efforts with various standard organizations. You will also provide support to the organization on standard-related questions and handle the ordering of new standards when requested.
 

Your profile

•    You have an engineering degree
•    You have technical engineering competence and 2-5 years of relevant experience 
•    You are interested in standards / compliance 
•    You have experience from similar work 
•    You like to work in a coordinating role and give support to the organization 
•    You are structured, analytical, team player, communicative and can handle many tasks at once
•    You need to be fluent in English both written and spoken, good Swedish is a merit
